Information and communication technologies (ICT) are all pervasive. Digital and ICT Professional skills, competences and roles performance are crucial for the European economy and society as a whole, and a common EU language that can be used by all eco-system key stakeholders for digital and ICT skills and workforce development in the short, mid and long term and across specific business fields, technologies and subdomains like AI, Green IT, quantum and cybersecurity, is essential.
Current, high-quality European professional standards in the field of digital technologies and ICT provide such common language, benchmarks and tools for the digital ecosystem to ensure high-quality and reliable digital and ICT professional services provision for all.
Breyer Publico have the knowledge, experience and capability to support the implementation of digital and ICT Professional skills and competence standards to support you in any digital environment: Organisations requiring digital and ICT professional workforce development (industry, public administration, organisations of all types), Learning Providers of all types (VET, HE, CPD, public and private), Certification, Accreditation, Professional Associations, Policy and Strategy Makers.
The European ICT community have continuously met for over 15 years under the umbrella of CEN/TC 428 to define the contemporary competences, roles, skills, knowledge and proficiency levels required in the professional workplace. In 2008 the first version of the European e-Competence Framework was constructed. This provided the foundation for subsequent fully populated structures that enables the identification and articulation of all relevant components for ICT Professional development.
These constructs provide flexible yet structured approaches to either ICT learning programme provision or HR skills management. Breyer Publico participated in the development of these structures and is therefore ideally positioned to support organisations large or small from business, education or government to exploit the inherent benefits of these enabling tools.
